You might not know you know Blackheart Honeymoon but you probably do. The Seattle band has been pumped through the speakers at Gap, Nordstrom’s and Starbucks around the country. Before you hear their new single while at your local mall, you can hear it exclusively at Surviving the Golden Age. “Mountains Speak” is sweat alt-country ballad reminiscent of Band of Horses complete with steel guitar and great harmonies. The track is the first single from Blackheart Honeymoon’s debut full length, Mountains Speak out on August 7th.

The band is getting some notice in the media. Here's what The Friday Track had to say.

"We always strive to promote self-released music and today’s Fire Track does just that. Seattle’s Blackheart Honeymoon may tell you that they have been influenced by the likes of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and Gram Parsons, but after one play of “Bodies,” I think you will agree that New Pornographers meets Fleetwood Mac is a fair description.
